Velvet Cupcake Games is a small independent developer dedicated to creating romance visual novels aimed at women and the LGBT community. Our first title is Made Marion, an action-adventure romance inspired by the legends of Robin Hood. It’s set in an original fantasy world in which human drama is backgrounded by the actions of mythical beings such as fae, gods, and powerful ancestral spirits.
The company is owned by Becky Cunningham, lead developer, writer, programmer, and wearer of too many hats. Just don’t ask her to draw anything, please! We’re headquartered in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, but we work with freelancers from around the world. We also have some fuzzy office assistants who provide moral support and occasional script “edits.”
